Greenland Irrigation currently operates a number of successful locations within Ontario, Canada. We are looking for new partners to expand our services to new geographic regions throughout Canada and the USA. We provide the framework and the infrastructure to nurture and support your business to ensure that you are successful and profitable within the irrigation industry. Franchises are also available for long-term ownership.

LICENSING FEE
An "Annual Fee" based on Territory Size.
A licensing fee is paid to Greenland Irrigation prior to start of the season for support services. Our support services include:
1. Support for installation, design and maintenance.
2. An advertising package consisting of advertising and administrative forms: contracts, business cards, flyers, letterhead envelopes, design pads etc. Everything you need to run your business each year.
3. Preferred pricing discounts on materials.
4. A web site listing on the greenlandirrigation.com site.
5. Use of our "Home Show Booth" for spring shows. $3,000 value.
6. Yellow page advertising.
7. Telephone Answering Service with the toll free number.
8. Uniforms @ cost.
9. Custom Design services for commercial projects.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Opportunities for growth within the irrigation industry are unlimited. There are no restrictions and your territory is protected. Our target market includes residential and commercial properties, sports fields and condominium projects. In addition to installation revenue, each installation requires ongoing service adding to the annual revenue base. Service Revenue will grow to become a very important aspect of the business. This is a true niche market protected by a specific skill set and a supplier discount structure which guarantees your profitability.

THE MARKET

RESIDENTIAL
Irrigation has become a necessity for most residential homeowners. In the residential sector, we target homes ranging from $200,000 in value up to $5 million. We have installed systems as small as $800 for a front yard up $15,000 for residential property. Irrigation represents a very small expense when compared to hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of landscaping invested. We have installed well over 4000 residential systems and counting.

COMMERCIAL
The commercial sector continues to surprise with growing demand for irrigated landscapes. Home Depot, McDonald's, Boston Pizza and Wendy's to name a few, all have irrigation systems. We have installed close to 1000 commercial systems. The commercial sector continues to be a leading area for growth. Commercial Jobs range in value from $5,000 to $50,000.

TRAINING
There is an initial training fee payable to Greenland in the first year of operations for training. Our experienced team of installers will train you on all aspects of irrigation including: Estimating, Design and Installation. 16 hours of Classroom training is required along with 24 hours on the job. You can also attend various service calls and installations at the Head Office in London, Ontario year round.

THE PARTNERSHIP
Your business operates in conjunction with our Head Office year round. Greenland Irrigation will administer the "800" number which is advertised along with your local business number in the yellow page directory and on flyers. We operate as a central call centre, dealing with customer requests for service and estimates which are then e-mailed or faxed directly to you. Telephone and fax support is available 24/7 year round.

VEHICLE
You can lease or purchase a Vehicle and have it custom lettered with the "Greenland Irrigation" logo and telephone number.

PROJECTIONS

INSTALLATION:
One crew of three experienced men can install one system every 2 days Value $2500. One crew can produce 100 jobs per season = $250,000 Revenue. In your first year of operations a conservative projection would be to produce half of this number and your crew would consist of yourself as foreman.

SERVICE:
At the end of your first year, you will need to blow the lines to prevent the pipes from freezing. This annual service is called a "Blow-Out". You will also conduct repairs for broken heads and cut lines. Service is ongoing throughout the season. Service Revenues can grow from $5,000 in your first year to over $100,000 by year five.

PROFIT MARGINS:
Your average margin of profit is 30 percent.

NOTES:
Once you reach a customer base of 300 clients, you will be well on your way to healthy income and ongoing retirement plan which generates income each and every season.
